Hi there,

Norfolk Tails is a dog-friendly travel and walking blog based in North Norfolk, where muddy paws, campervan cuddles, and coastal adventures come to life.

I grew up in Norfolk, but, I had the opportunity to travel and then found myself settling outside of Norfolk with work. After a few years living in different corners of the UK — I found myself craving the big skies, the Norfolk coastline, and the quiet magic of home. So in December 2024 after some soul searching and of course being able to take the opportunity to relocate I returned to North Norfolk with my hubby, daughter and Clemmie, my mischievous cockapoo and tireless adventure buddy.

Now we spend our days exploring dog-friendly Norfolk beaches, wandering woodland trails, and discovering the friendliest dog-welcoming cafés, pubs, and hidden gems across the county.

Clemmie is an explorer through and through — equal parts curious and cuddly. She’d happily make friends with everyone… except geese (but that’s a tale for another day).

Norfolk Tails brings together my love for adventure, slow travel, and the sea. Here you’ll find dog-friendly walks, scenic routes, practical tips, dog friendly places to visit and the simple joys of exploring the Norfolk countryside at an easy, unhurried pace.

So whether you’re planning a campervan trip, searching for your next Norfolk beach walk, or simply here for a glimpse into our four-legged lifestyle, you’re always welcome.

Paws up, tails wagging, let’s explore.
